Industrial edge + cloud platform for Industry 4.0

Connect your plant, sharpen its intelligence

Connect, centralise and contextualise your plant data on a single platform.

IT/OT convergence

Your data already exists. Turning it into decisions is the hard part.

Today

Every machine, one stream.

TodayIsolated from each other.

What energy costs, by the minute.

TodayOn next month's bill.

Every deviation, flagged as it happens.

TodayAt end of shift.

ISO 50001 evidence, continuous.

TodayAssembled by hand.

AI-ready data, from day one.

TodayIn a historian nobody opens.

Turn industrial data into operational insight, without complex integrations.

Data architecture

01Connect

Connect the infrastructure you already have

No replacing machinery, no stopping production. wattiot Edge reads PLCs, SCADAs, meters and inverters over MQTT, OPC-UA and Modbus TCP, and its LoRaWAN gateway reaches where there is no cable and no coverage.

ISO/IEC 27001 · certification in progress

02Contextualise

Context is what gives the data meaning

Your plant does not think in hours: it thinks in shifts, orders and batches. wattiot crosses those events into Operational Contexts so you can compare shift with shift, product with product, plant with plant.

See operational contexts

03Analyse

KPIs that speak your plant's language

On top of that context you define KPIs and virtual tags with formulas or in plain language: specific consumption, OEE, deviation from baseline. The platform learns each asset's normal range and flags what drifts.

04Act

From analysis to automatic action

Automate alarms, emails and webhooks with your own triggers. And the paperwork writes itself: AI-explained reports and evidence ready for an energy audit and ISO 50001.

+300,000units a year

Just 5 more points of OEE

On a 1,000 units/h line, lifting OEE by five points frees over 300,000 units of capacity a year without buying a single machine. Track performance, availability and micro-stops line by line to find them.

+€5,000a year

A compressed-air leak

One small leak can waste more than €5,000 of energy a year. Catch it before it becomes a permanent loss.

€9,000per failure avoided

A 75 kW motor breaking down

Vibration climbing steadily is the warning. Catching it in time avoids 4 h of downtime (€6,000) and an emergency repair (€3,000).

€5–10ka year

Consumption outside production hours

Pumps, fans, compressors and HVAC keep drawing power with the factory idle. Finding that hidden load can save €5,000–10,000 a year, and it is among the first things measurement turns up.

Does wattiot replace my SCADA?

It does not replace your SCADA, it builds on it. The SCADA controls the machine; wattiot reads those same signals live without touching the operation, adds operational context and turns them into KPIs, analysis and reports. You see what is happening now, and why.

What do I need to install in my plant?

A wattiot Edge gateway on a machine or a local server. From there it reads signals from PLCs, meters and inverters over MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus or CSV, with no extra middleware.

What if some of my equipment produces no data today?

wattiot Edge has a LoRaWAN gateway built in, so you can deploy sensors cheaply without infrastructure or cabling. You start measuring where there was no data before.

What happens if my plant loses its internet connection?

The edge buffers readings locally and syncs them once the connection is back. Nothing is lost and the plant keeps operating locally.

What is an operational context?

A time window built from the intersection of events such as shifts, work orders or batches, which organises your data into comparable conditions. It is what turns a series of readings into an answer.

Can I build my own KPIs and calculations?

Yes. wattiot lets you create virtual tags and KPIs on top of real signals: specific consumption, OEE, deviations or totals, by shift or by context. Build them with formulas, or describe them to the AI assistant in plain language.

Is the data transfer secure, and who owns the data?

Yes. The gateway sends encrypted readings and every plant works with its own keys, instance and permissions. Your data stays yours, on open standards.

Can I start small and expand later?

Yes. Start with one line, one area or a few meters, then widen to more machines, more KPIs or other plants managed centrally. It all runs on the same foundation: the next step does not need a new project.

Does it help with energy audits and ISO 50001?

It centralises readings, keeps traceability, detects deviations and generates exportable reports. It does not replace certification, but it gives you the consistent data the standard requires.
